In this potentially two-year exploratory program for students contemplating a career in the health care industry, skills and knowledge are presented that would be applicable and transferable to a wide variety of medical professions. Clinical experience is one of the most important parts of the program. This course involves patient transfer techniques, C.N.A. skills, exam positioning techniques, health care safety, hygiene, physical and occupational therapy, medical terminology, human growth and development, vital signs, geriatric care, first aid/CPR/and AED, Infection control, Nutrition and diet, anatomy and physiology.

First year student goals:
- To acquire the necessary tools to be a functional team member in the clinical setting
- To obtain knowledge and simulate the clinical setting during practice of hands–on skills with each other.
- To interact with other professionals and care for “real” patients to make the relevance of learning and work apparent.
- To begin to evaluate the various professions and their personal suitability.

Second year student goals:
- To continue evaluation of the profession(s) selected during first year experiences.
- To develop increased knowledge in Medical Terminology
